Super cold all weekend, yet just couldn’t put a proper coat on when heading out. Opted instead for a camel fringed kind of poncho, bought that piece probably over 12 years ago. Spent a small fortune on it, cashmere, yet still reaching for it and wearing it so darn good addition.
Had to do black boots, needed the leg lengthening effect with the leather skinnies. The suede in the boot gives a soft contrast to the subtle shine of the leather. Leather boots on leather pants might feel a bit too strong. Underneath the wrap is a tank and long cardigan. With all of this clothing and the volume of the wrap the deep v of the tank shows just enough skin to grab a little attention without going overboard. While it was cold enough for a turtleneck, the look could have been much too covered.
Vintage camel bag, large gold hoops, red-orange lip, and day-old hair, all working together and warming up our favorite all black.
