Do think about wearing a dress. Maybe in a color or pastel or floral. Preferably not black. If you need a heel consider a wedge.

Channeling Jackie is always a sure bet when headed out to a political fundraiser. Wine and food followed with my husbands Chaine group so I thought this was a great dress to wear for a Thursday night out. I love the collar, color, and the fabric. In my mind it is a super great dress for this kind of night.

One of the highlights of our trip to the Napa Valley was a fantastic luncheon at Robert Mondavi Winery. We were there as part of a group my husband belongs to, Confrerie De La Chaine Des Rotisseurs. The food was incredible and the vertical tasting of the 2008 Robert Mondavi Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve and the 1998 Robert Mondavi Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve was beyond. Which one do you prefer?

Big question was what to wear? White skinnies again to the rescue, Christian Louboutin flat sandals and a linen blouse had me feeling comfortable and confident. Check out my new friend from Texas and her color block look! Even she had on skinnies with her Crush Linen Jacket and Tank.

One of the best parts? Margrit Mondavi greeting her guests and telling us that there are many more old winemakers than there are old doctors. Salut!

After a long day of traveling from Phili the last thing I felt like doing was putting together an outfit for dinner out. In comes outfit memory: same outfit I wore while in Phili the night before. Comfort clothes silk blouse, great clutch bag, and kicking shoes. Standard white skinnies and done.

Had a great day here. Started at Hess Collection. Unbelievable modern art collection. Went on to Bouchon for lunch, delicious. Stopped at Darioush, my favorite place to shop in wine country. They have amazing stuff!
