City Blues

ink cotton blouse, ink cropped pants, blue bag, black Chelsea boot

I’ve bought several new pant styles this year, each having different fit profiles. The Manhattan Cropped Flared Pant from Lafayette 148 in ink hits my rotation when I need to be active and on my feet.

With clean lines and a slim fit, it’s cut from exquisite Italian stretch cotton, composed of 66% Cotton, 25% Polyamide, and 9% Elastane. It’s also machine washed on cold, giving it bonus points.

early Spring in France required a trench and a down vest
this pant is super easy to move in and looks polished

I wore these pants while wine touring in Bordeaux, France, and then again in Cambridge, MA. The French look included a white blouse under a black cashmere turtleneck (I popped both the collar and the cuffs of the blouse), brown suede Chelsea boots, and a brown and white reversible trench. I opted for a more monochromatic look in Cambridge with an ink cotton blouse and Roger Vivier Chelsea boots with a Crystal Buckle.

not my usual look, yet fun to mix it up and look smart

This cropped pant will look good with a sandal, yet my preferred match would be my Dior slingbacks; I haven’t gotten there yet.

While setting up yesterday, I counted 35 pairs of denim for your try-on pleasure! There’s so much more, including proper trousers, leggings, and vacation styles.

I’ll be working with new pant styles from the Pre-Fall collection from June 7th through June 24th.
