salt on our butter

The love affair with real butter continues. And when it’s served with a sprinkling of salt on top, count me in. Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, we love your style.

For yet another dinner out, no complaints, only the challenge of what to wear; it was jacketed white linen with heels. Back on the east coast and a blazer and heels felt right. Wanted to hit the middle note between conservative and a little sexy, jacket covered up, linen halter showed a little skin. While talking with younger friend about what we were wearing and what time for border crossing, told her I kind of wanted to wear pajamas but that just wouldn’t do. 🙂

This outfit felt completely right. There were six of us, one friend, ten years younger, wore spaghetti strapped sundress, the other, maybe eight years older, navy and white striped long-sleeved tee and white linen jacket. Thought we all looked pretty spot on.

Blogging about outfits and clothes does seem a little superficial at times, but having worked with women most of my life, first in the fitness world, for a few years at an independent girls school, and all along in fashion, women want to know how to get the look right and what to wear.

So here, every day dress. Move daily with intent so your body and mind work for you. Put on some good clothes and a little makeup, there seems to be an epidemic of dress down and not really sure where we go from here.

While having protein at breakfast and making dinner at night, we should all have a little salt on our butter.

Every day dress.

Sorry for the format change, can’t figure out the easy rotator error just yet.
