I’m supposed to be in NYC at a work meeting, instead I’m home making Ina’s Chicken with Forty Cloves of Garlic.
We travel to London soon for Elizabeth’s graduate school commencement exercises from King’s College, and we have dining reservations at Rabbit in Chelsea, and The River Café, both restaurants Lizzie and I dined at last go-round when I was there in November, they were that much fun.
One of my favorite podcasts is Ruthie’s Table 4, and if I was asked about dreamland dinner guests at a dreamland dinner, one of them might potentially be David Beckham, and of course Victoria, and any and all of their children with significants. Ruthie and David have so much to talk about they had to break it out into two sessions, heaven on earth. If I were better at tech I could share the direct link to those episodes, but I’m not, so you just might have to listen to the whole lot to get there, and that’s not a bad thing.
If you are in search of something epic, I recommend without reservation listening to Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, on Audible, read by Maggie Gyllenhaal. 35 hours and 35 minutes of soul riveting storytelling, that takes you everywhere you might want to go.
